MFCT

Multifunction circulating tool technology

Drilling valve
Does not require darts or balls to be pumped down the drillpipe
Can be operated in the hole as many times as required by slacking off or picking up the drillpipe
Allows drillstring rotation above the tool with the circulating ports open
Is available to run in all common casing and liner sizes

Optimize fluid displacement and protect the lower string

The clutch type MFCT™ multifunction circulating tool technology helps improve cleanout efficiency and achieve superior fluid displacement. A weight-set, activation bypass optimizes annular flow rates to support more effective wellbore cleanup.

MFCT technology features a clutch-type mechanism that disengages to limit torque transmission to the lower string, helping protect sensitive downhole assemblies. The tool is well suited for wells with small liner diameters where cleanup is required before running liners, completions, or test strings. It can also be run while drilling out cement and during milling or polishing liner-top polished-bore receptacles (PBRs).

A heavy-duty variant is available to lock the tool in a fixed position.
